Gorilla trekking in Uganda is done in only two national parks located in Southwestern Uganda that is Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and Mgahinga gorilla national park.

It should be noted that Bwindi impenetrable forest has four sectors where gorilla trekking is carried out that is Ruhija, Buhoma, Nkuringo and Rushaga. Mgahinga gorilla national park hag only one gorilla family called Nyakagezi and it can be easily accessed by all tourists that come to visit the Pearl of Africa.
