Day 1: Transfer to Kampala city, visit Gadaffi mosque, independence monument and Uganda museum.

After early served breakfast, go for a city tour around Kampala. You begin by visiting the Gadaffi mosque at Old Kampala. It is also known as the Uganda national mosque and was completed in 2006 with a sitting capacity of up to 15,000 worshipers. Tourists should take note that while in this holy place, they are required to observe the rules and regulations for example dressing in Muslim faith attire as a sign of respect.

Later go for a visit to the independence monument in the city center that symbolizes Uganda’s independence from the British colonialism. Later go for a visit to the Baha’i temple on Kikaya hill. Also learn more about the Baha’i worship. In the afternoon visit Nakasero market in the heart of Kampala city on Nakasero hill. This is one of the city’s busiest markets and here tourists get to explore more with a combination of shopping their favorite fruits and vegetables.
