Our 15 days cross country expeditions take you through the land of a thousand hills and later cross to the Pearl of Africa. The trip starts in Kigali and ends in Entebbe. Rwanda is characterized by so many hills with its capital Kigali ranked as one of the cleanest cities in the world. During the 15 days cross country expeditions, you will be able to visit Volcanoes national park in Rwanda for golden monkey tracking and the gorilla guardian’s village. Get to learn more about the cultural line of kingship among the people of Rwanda.

You will cross to Uganda through immigrations at Cyanika border and a must visit to the gorillas is another rewarding experience you shouldn’t miss on a visit to the Pearl of Africa. Explore other Uganda national parks namely Queen Elizabeth, Kibale and Murchison falls national parks. Visit Jinja as well, also known as Uganda’s industrialized city with a lot of activities; source of the Nile and itanda falls as you enjoy the beautiful scenery of the area and its surroundings.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel

Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be met and greeted by Corners of Earth safari representative who will later transfer you to your booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes national park

After served breakfast, check out of the facility and transfer to Volcanoes national park. Enroute stop at the Kandt museum and learn more about the leadership history of the people of Rwanda. Later embark on the journey to Volcanoes national park arriving at the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay

Day 3: Golden Monkey tracking and Cultural visit

After served breakfast, our company guide will transfer you to the park headquarters in Kinigi for briefing and later embark on the journey to the park to search for the golden monkeys. It is a thrilling experience as you get to see them swing from one tree branch to another. Later alone in the afternoon, go for a visit to the Ibyiwacu cultural village also known as the Gorilla guardian’s village. During this visit, you are able to learn more about the kingship lines of the people of Rwanda and how they have managed to maintain it till date. In the evening, return to the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi national park, Batwa visit.

After breakfast, check out of the booked facility and transfer to Bwindi. Enroute stop at Cyanika border for immigration clearance and later embark on the journey to Bwindi arriving at the booked facility and check in. In the afternoon, go for a visit to the Batwa community and listen to their unique story of surviving in the forest over the years. As you are entertained with traditional songs as well. Return to the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking Experience

This is the highlight of your itinerary – the gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After breakfast and a briefing, you’ll embark on a thrilling trek through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers. As you encounter a family of gentle giants, you’ll have a precious hour to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Lunch will be provided, giving you time to rest and reflect on this extraordinary experience. The rest of the day will be spent at the lodge, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic journey that showcases the beauty of Uganda’s landscapes. Have lunch enroute and later arrive at the booked facility and check in. In the afternoon, go for a game drive in the park as you get to see a lot of animals. It should be noted that Queen Elizabeth is one of the top tourist destinations in Uganda. In the evening, return to the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Game Drive and Boat cruise

Early in the morning, you’ll start with a fulfilling breakfast and briefing. You’ll then embark on an exhilarating game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll have the chance to spot a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, and various antelope species. After the game drive, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch and later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will be rewarded with opportunities of seeing a school of hippos as well as Pelicans at the Pelican point. You also get to see the elephants and other animals that come out of the bushes in the hot afternoon to drink water on the shores of Kazinga channel. In the evening return back to the lodge for lunch in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay

Day 8: Transfer to Kibale national Park

After served breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Kibale forest national park also known as the primate capital of the world. The journey itself will provide you with beautiful views of lush greenery and abundant wildlife. landscape. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and later relax at the facility as you prepare for the next day’s activity.

Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

This day begins with an early breakfast to fuel your exciting day ahead. You’ll embark on an unforgettable chimp tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. Before entering the forest, you are required to go for briefing first at Kanyanchu tourism information centre where later you will be allocated in groups of six persons and with the help of an experienced ranger guide from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), you’ll trek through the dense forest trails, encountering these intelligent primates in their natural habitat. After the chimp tracking, you’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch, followed by a visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary in the afternoon exploring the diverse birdlife and other wildlife that call this sanctuary home. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at the booked lodge.

Day 10: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.

After a refreshing breakfast, you’ll receive a detailed briefing for the day ahead. Later transfer to Murchison falls with and go for a visit to the top of the falls and later check in at the booked lodge in time for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

This day starts with an early breakfast and a briefing for the day’s activities. You’ll embark on an exciting game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, exploring its diverse landscapes and encountering a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and more. After the game drive, you’ll enjoy a tasty lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll experience a thrilling boat cruise along the Nile River, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the majestic Murchison Falls up close. Finally, you’ll return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Transfer to Jinja

After served breakfast, check out of the booked hotel and transfer to Jinja. Enroute stop at ziwa rhino for rhino tracking and later embark on the journey to Jinja via Wobulenzi and Kayunga arriving in time for check in, evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Visit the source of the Nile, afternoon visit Itanda falls.

After served breakfast, go for a visit to the source of the Nile ans enjoy the beauty of the surroundings as you are rewarded with opportunities of taking good and clear photographs. Return to the lodge for lunch and later visit Itanda falls. Return to the lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Transfer to Entebbe

After served breakfast, check out of the booked facility and transfer to Entebbe. Arrive and check in and later go for a cup of coffee at the Victoria mall. Return to the lodge in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

15: Transfer to the airport for departure

After served breakfast, you can opt to go for a visit to the botanical gardens and or go for shopping in the craft shops for souvenirs to take to loved ones back home and later transfer to the airport in time for your international flight back home.
