Horse Riding Experience

This is one of the major activities carried out in Lake Mburo National Park. Tourists travelling to this national park should always consider this activity on their bucket list, as it is an unforgettable experience one shouldn’t miss in their lifetime.

Horse-riding safaris are conducted by Mihingo Safari Lodge, and this is a great opportunity to see wildlife in their natural environment. This activity has been in operation at Mihingo Lodge since December 2008. In 2009, the park received a concession to operate inside the national park, hence making it so adventurous, and this led to discovering more favourable routes. Tourists are always advised to take the Warukiri route, where they are able to see so many hills and the Warukiri ridge as you see the valleys of the park.

This usually takes between 4-5 hours, depending on what the client has booked. There are also extended horseback riding safaris where a client can repeat the activity depending on their schedule. This ride takes you through the savannah and provides tourists with opportunities to spot a lot of wildlife as well as take clear photographs of the beautiful scenery of Lake Mburo National Park and its surroundings.

There is no experience needed in this activity, but with the help of experienced guides, your dream come true is made possible. Both adults and children can take part in this experience. Redefine your stay in Lake Mburo National Park by adding this adventure to your bucket list. At Corners of Earth Safari, we are always ready to make this possible.
