Detailed itinerary for 6 days Chimpanzee Gorilla & Golden Monkey Trekking
DAY 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel
On the first day of your itinerary, you will arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed. Our team will assist you with immigration formalities, and then you’ll be transferred to your booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, optional Bigodi swamp walk
After served breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Kibale forest national park also known as the primate capital of the world. The journey itself will provide you with beautiful views of lush greenery and abundant wildlife. Enroute stop at Fort Portal for lunch before embarking on the journey to the national park as you pass through the lush green vegetation with tea plantations near Isunga park headquarters creating a beautiful scenery of the landscape. Arrive at the lodge in time for afternoon relaxation and check-in. You can opt to go for a walk in the Bigodi swamp.

DAY 3: Chimpanzee Tracking, later transfer to Bwindi national park
This day begins with an early breakfast to fuel your exciting day ahead. You’ll embark on an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. Before entering the forest, you are required to go for briefing first at Kanyanchu tourism information center where later you will be allocated in groups of six persons and with the help of an experienced ranger guide from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), you’ll trek through the dense forest trails, encountering these intelligent primates in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Bwindi national park arriving at the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay

DAY 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience, later transfer to Mgahinga national park

After breakfast and a briefing, you’ll embark on a thrilling trek through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers. Lunch will be packed, giving you time to rest and reflect on this extraordinary experience. Coming face to face with these creatures is one of the most rewarding experiences you should not miss in a lifetime on your trip to the Pearl of Africa. Later transfer to Mgahinga national park arriving at the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay

DAY 5: Golden monkey tracking, later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After early served breakfast, set out for briefing and later enter the forest in search of the golden monkey tracking. Get the opportunity to see these monkeys as they swing from one bamboo tree to another as they eat and play as you spend one full hour with them. Later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi arriving in time for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay

DAY 6: Transfer to Entebbe for departure
