DETAILED ITINERARY

The Uganda safari starts with an early transfer to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will then meet the guides and other trekkers. After the guides will brief you about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations, gorilla behaviour and safety guidelines.

After, you will be assigned a gorilla trekking family depending on the level of fitness. After you will head into the forest in search of the gentle giants. The trek takes 1 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. While on the trek, you will experience the beauty of the forest, see birds and enjoy the African wildlife safari.

Once the gorilla family is located, you will spend an hour observing them. You will watch them feed, play and interact within their natural environment. After the trek, return to the starting point and have your late lunch. After, you will embark your journey to the lodge of any place of convenience.
