Tour Plan

Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe and travel westwards through lush tea plantations and rolling hills to Fort Portal. In the afternoon, visit the Tooro King’s Palace and learn about the kingdom’s history and traditions. Later, enjoy a guided walk in the town and settle into your lodge.

Spend the morning visiting a local community around Fort Portal. Participate in farming activities such as planting or harvesting, join in basket weaving sessions, and taste traditional Ugandan dishes. In the afternoon, explore the crater lakes area with scenic walks and storytelling from local guides.

After breakfast, transfer to the area around Kibale Forest. Visit a community tourism project where you can take part in coffee processing, traditional cooking lessons, and drumming sessions. Enjoy cultural dances in the evening before resting at a lodge or community homestay.
