11 Days Lion Experiential Safari
Overview
Our 11 days lion experiential safari takes you to Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi, and Lake Mburo National Park. It should be noted that Uganda’s national parks reward you with opportunities to see a lot of wildlife as well as explore diverse cultures within and out of these protected areas. Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park, a primate capital of the world, rewards you with opportunities to see other primates like vervet monkeys, olive baboons, redtailed monkeys, and lhoest monkeys.
The lion tracking experience is the major highlight of this itinerary and is only done in Queen Elizabeth National Park, also known as Uganda’s top tourist destination. With the help of the Uganda Carnival Program (UCP) team, tourists track the lions, as the team always knows where exactly these lions have moved at that particular time since they are being tracked.

Pick up from your hotel and enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside and tea plantations. Stop for lunch en route before arriving at Murchison Falls National Park. Check in to a lodge overlooking the Nile and enjoy a romantic dinner at sunset.

Morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes and antelopes. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can spot hippos and crocodiles. Evening bush dinner under the stars.

Drive to the southern Ishasha sector, famous for tree climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild. Return to the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park for afternoon leisure including swimming or a couples massage. Evening sunset drinks followed by dinner.
