Tour Plan
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you will be welcomed by your guide. Begin your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with stops at the equator and along the rolling countryside. Arrive in the evening and settle into your lodge near the forest. Overnight in Bwindi.
After breakfast head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your trek. Guided by experienced rangers you will enter the dense rainforest in search of a gorilla family. Once found you will spend one precious hour with them observing their behaviour and interactions. Return to the lodge for relaxation and an optional community walk. Overnight in Bwindi.
After breakfast drive to Lake Bunyonyi known as the place of little birds. The lake is dotted with numerous islands and surrounded by terraced hills. In the afternoon take a canoe ride to explore the islands or simply relax at your lodge with views of the lake. Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi.
Spend the day enjoying the tranquillity of Lake Bunyonyi. Activities include boat rides, village visits, nature walks, or swimming in the bilharzia free waters. This is a perfect day to unwind after the gorilla trekking adventure. Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast begin your drive back to Entebbe. Stop at the equator for lunch and photographs before continuing to the airport for your international flight or drop off at your hotel.
