Tour Plan
Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from Kampala or Entebbe. Drive south west through beautiful countryside, tea plantations, and the lush hills of western Uganda. You will have a lunch stop in Mbarara before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Arrive in the late afternoon, settle into your lodge, and relax as you enjoy the cool forest breeze and the sounds of nature.

Budget: Ride 4 a Woman Guesthouse or Buhoma Community Rest Camp
Today is the big day. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing with the Uganda Wildlife Authority. You will be assigned a gorilla group and set off on your trek through dense forest, steep slopes, and misty trails.
Once you locate the gorillas, spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat. This rare wildlife encounter is widely considered one of the most powerful experiences in Africa.
Return to the lodge for lunch and a well deserved rest. Optional activities later in the afternoon include a community walk, cultural visit, or nature walk.

After breakfast, begin your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy a lunch stop en route and arrive in the evening, marking the end of your gorilla tracking adventure.
