DETAILED ITINERARY

Early morning, you will be picked up from Kampala or Entebbe. After you will be driven to Mabamba swamp. Mabamba swamp is situated at the shores of lake Victoria. You will then board a motorised canoe and explore the wetland in search of the shoebill. You will enjoy a birdwatching safari and photography while on your Uganda safari.

Besides the shoebill, you will spot other bird species such as the lesser jacana, african pygmy goose, blue swallow, blue breasted bee eater, papyrus gonolek as well as more aquatic birds in Uganda. Then later, you will return to the landing site after the canoe experience and birdwatching and you will be driven back to Entebbe for lunch and later to your hotel.
