Our 14 days Uganda wildlife safari takes you to Uganda’s top tourist destinations. The trip starts and ends in Entebbe. We begin by visiting Murchison Falls via Ziwa rhino sanctuary as you track rhinos on foot—the best experience ever. From Murchison Falls, we visit Kibale, also known as the primate capital of the world, for primate viewing, later to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s top tourist destinations. Embark on the journey to Bwindi National Park as you get to see the mountain gorillas—a thrilling and unforgettable experience one shouldn’t miss on their trip to the Pearl of Africa.

Detailed 14 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari Package

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel

On the first day of your itinerary, you will arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed. Our team will assist you with immigration formalities, and then you’ll be transferred to your booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa rhino sanctuary.

After a refreshing breakfast, you’ll receive a detailed briefing for the day ahead. Later transfer to Murchison Falls with an enroute stop at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. This is one of the most thrilling experiences as you get to track rhinos on foot. Later, en route, stop at Masindi town for lunch before proceeding to the park via Kichumbanyombo gate. Go for a visit to the top of the falls and later check in at the booked lodge in time for evening relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls National Park

Day three starts with an early breakfast and a briefing for the day’s activities. You’ll embark on an exciting game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, exploring its diverse landscapes and encountering a wide array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and more.

After the game drive, you’ll enjoy a tasty lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll experience a thrilling boat cruise along the Nile River, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the majestic Murchison Falls up close. Finally, you’ll return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After serving breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, also known as the primate capital of the world. The journey itself will provide you with beautiful views of lush greenery and abundant wildlife. Enroute stop at Fort Portal for lunch before embarking on the journey to the national park as you pass through the lush green vegetation with tea plantations near Isunga Park headquarters, creating a beautiful scenery of the landscape. Arrive at the lodge in time for evening relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Day five begins with an early breakfast to fuel your exciting day ahead. You’ll embark on an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. Before entering the forest, you are required to go for a briefing first at the Kanyanchu tourism information centre, where later you will be allocated in groups of six persons, and with the help of an experienced ranger guide from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), you’ll trek through the dense forest trails, encountering these intelligent primates in their natural habitat.

After the chimp tracking, you’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch, followed by a visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary in the afternoon, exploring the diverse bird life and other wildlife that call this sanctuary home. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at the booked lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic journey that showcases the beauty of Uganda’s landscapes. Have lunch enroute and later arrive at the booked facility and check in. In the afternoon, go for a game drive in the park as you get to see a lot of animals. It should be noted that Queen Elizabeth is one of the top tourist destinations in Uganda. In the evening, return to the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Early in the morning, you’ll start with a fulfilling breakfast and briefing. You’ll then embark on an exhilarating game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll have the chance to spot a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, and various antelope species. After the game drive, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch, and later in the afternoon, go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, where you will be rewarded with opportunities to see a school of hippos as well as Pelicans at the Pelican point.

You also get to see the elephants and other animals that come out of the bushes in the hot afternoon to drink water on the shores of Kazinga Channel. In the evening, return back to the lodge for lunch in time for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a game drive in the park and later transfer to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector. Ishasha Sector is known for its famous tree-climbing lions, so on a good day you can be able to spot tree-climbing lions before exiting the park as you enter Bwindi. Arrive at the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking Experience

Day nine is the highlight of your itinerary—the gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After breakfast and a briefing, you’ll embark on a thrilling trek through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers. As you encounter a family of gentle giants, you’ll have a precious hour to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Lunch will be provided, giving you time to rest and reflect on this extraordinary experience. The rest of the day will be spent at the lodge, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to Bwindi and transfer to the scenic Lake Bunyonyi. This picturesque lake is renowned for its stunning landscapes and tranquility. Upon arrival, you’ll have a delicious lunch before embarking on a boat cruise, exploring the islands and immersing yourself in the beauty of the surroundings. After the cruise, you’ll return to the lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Following breakfast and an early-served breakfast, you’ll transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its diverse wildlife. Enroute stop at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and later embark on the journey to the park. Arrive in the afternoon and check in, and later go for an evening game drive in the park. Return to the booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Game drive and afternoon optional walking safaris

After served breakfast, go for an early morning game drive in the park and be provided with opportunities to see animals that you might have missed the previous evening. Return to the lodge for lunch, and later in the afternoon you can opt for the walking safaris or remain at the lodge for relaxation.

Day 13: Transfer to Entebbe

After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey back to Entebbe. Enroute stop at the equator for lunch and later participate in the water experiment. Embark on the journey to Entebbe, arriving at your booked facility in time for relaxation, dinner, and an overstay.

Day 14: Visit the botanical gardens; later transfer to the airport for departure.

After serving breakfast, go for a visit to the botanical gardens and go shopping in the craft shops for souvenirs to take to loved ones back home and later transfer to the airport in time for your international flight back home.
