Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time you may visit the botanical gardens or relax by Lake Victoria. Overnight in Entebbe.
After breakfast begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. The scenic drive takes you through tea plantations and rural landscapes. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your lodge. Overnight in Kibale.
Start the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, which is also home to several other primates and rich birdlife. After lunch drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Overnight in Queen Elizabeth.
Enjoy a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains where you may see elephants, buffaloes, lions, and antelopes. In the afternoon take a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel with excellent views of hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Overnight in Queen Elizabeth.
After breakfast take a game drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for tree climbing lions, before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge near the forest. Overnight in Bwindi.
Today is the highlight of your safari. After a briefing by the rangers, you will trek into the dense forest in search of mountain gorillas. Once located you will spend one unforgettable hour with them before returning. In the afternoon transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast enjoy a canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi, visit some of the islands, or take a short nature walk. Later begin your return journey to Entebbe with a stop at the equator for photographs before your departure flight.
