Gorilla Trekking Volcanoes

Our 3 days gorilla trekking safari starts in Kigali and ends in Kigali. The journey will take you to Volcanoes National Park, also known as Parc National de Volcans, famously known to be home of the mountain gorillas. You are also given the opportunity to visit the genocide memorial site, where guides will take you through the horrific events that happened in the year 1994. Volcanoes National Park has over 7 habituated gorilla families where tourists are allowed to spend one full hour with these gentle giants.

Tracking involves hiking as you pass through the dense forests and the steep mountain. Coming face to face with these mountain gorillas is one of the most rewarding, thrilling, and unforgettable experiences one should not miss in a lifetime. These 3 day gorilla trekking tour gives you the opportunity to explore diverse cultures as you get to visit the Iby’iwacu, also known as the gorilla guardians’ village.
