3 Days Murchison Falls Safari
Overview
Our 3 days Murchison Falls trip takes you to Uganda’s most visited national park. Located in the northeastern part of Uganda, it spreads from the shores of Lake Albert, around the Victoria Falls, up to the Karuma Falls. Murchison Falls National Park is managed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and was first gazetted as a game reserve in 1926. It is also considered the oldest and largest conservation area.
On this 3 days Murchison falls tour, we will make a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking and later transfer to Murchison falls via top of the falls. A must does not miss is the boat cruise to the bottom of the falls as you enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the surroundings.

Tour Plan
After breakfast depart from Entebbe or Kampala and drive northwards to Murchison Falls National Park. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience before continuing to the park. In the afternoon visit the top of the falls to witness the Nile squeezing through a narrow gorge before plunging into a thunderous cascade. Overnight in Murchison Falls.

Rise early for a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly leopards. After lunch enjoy a boat safari along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. The cruise provides close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species. Optional hike to the top of the falls can be arranged. Overnight in Murchison Falls.

After breakfast take a short game drive or nature walk before beginning your journey back to Entebbe or Kampala. You may stop for lunch along the way and arrive in the evening for drop off at your hotel or at the airport for departure.
